GO WITH THE PROPER FLOW

Eye Catching Title
Efficient traffic patterns are essential in every area of the house, but the kitchen generates more traffic and poses more potential dangers than any other room. Therefore, kitchen design warrants special attention in order to encourage safe pathways that neither interfere with cooking nor compromise safe passage through the room. Of primary importance in good traffic control is the correct placement of doors and passageways in the kitchen. It is, of course, desirable to have people pass through the kitchen, but they should not be directed through the all-important work triangle. It is preferable to have traffic directed around the kitchen island than between the island and sink or cook top. Moving an ill-placed kitchen door can be one of the best moves in a kitchen remodeling.
