LIFE AT 30

Eye Catching Title
Two decades ago, anyone above the age of 30 was viewed with suspicion. This attitude was based not so much on reason as it was on the fact that ours was primarily a youth culture. Today, however, the numbers have begun to shift. In fact, the fastest growing population group in the country is that of persons over 50 years of age. Now, those who were quick to denounce the over-30 group are part of it. They have learned about responsibility, compromise, and patience. Time has brought about reconciliation and a certain amount of wisdom. As Georges Clemenceau once said: "All that I know I learned after I was thirty." There are probably many more of us who are inclined to agree.

Perspective does change. This is also evident by the growing numbers of people, of all ages, who take advantage of the opportunity to make pre-arrangements. The perspective of having one's own wishes adhered to, as well as alleviating a burden from distraught relatives, seems to be more desirable. At RUMPH MORTUARY, 312 West Oak St., we are available to answer your questions and assist with such pre-planning. Tel. 863-7161. Available 24 hours. Serving all faiths.
